Ongoing fraud campaign
- Never share your login information, such as your phone passcode, your Yuh Key or card PIN number.
- Never share a verification SMS. This is a security measure sent to you to make sure you really are who you say you are.
- Never give out your personal details such as your email address, phone number, home address or date of birth. They can be used to impersonate you.
- Never use your Yuh login or personal information on any website. Yuh only works within the Yuh app. We will never ask you to log in via a website.
- Be very careful with e-commerce sites such as Facebook Marketplace. Fraudsters often pose as services such as PayPal, TWINT, or a local bank. They usually use foreign phone numbers to trick their victims.
- If you are selling goods, never give out your PIN or card number. Honest buyers will never need this information to make a payment. Fraudsters use this information to access and drain your TWINT or bank account. If the buyer offers to pick up the package via a delivery service, refuse. It is a scam.
- If you are buying goods, make sure the person is trustworthy, and, if possible, do not pay until you have received the goods.
Giving out your confidential information is like giving your house keys to burglars. You are fully responsible for it and will face the consequences. If in doubt, call the police or our Customer Care (+41 44 825 87 89).
