What is an eTax statement?

An eTax statement is a tax statement in PDF format with barcodes that allows you to import your bank account information directly into your online tax return. It’s quicker and more accurate than entering the information by hand. The only drawback? It’s only available to Swiss residents.

Do I have to pay to get my eTax statement?

Yes, we charge 25 CHF. However, you can still file your taxes for free using the tax-related documents available in the document inbox in the app.

Here are the details:

🇨🇭 🇪🇺 : For all Yuhsers who have received dividends from their investments– we provide the withholding tax statement free of charge.

🇨🇭 : For Swiss residents only – with cash or active investments – we offer an eTax statement for a fee of 25 CHF.

Who can use eTax statements?

eTax statements are designed for people who live in Switzerland and file an individual tax return. It’s particularly useful if you have a lot of investments.

If I live outside Switzerland, will I also receive eTax statements?

No. However, you can file your taxes using the tax-related documents available in the document inbox.

If I want a printed copy, what should I do?

Yuh doesn’t distribute printed copies of the eTax statement. If you manage to obtain a paper version of the document by any means, you will need to enter the information from that statement manually, as scanned versions of eTax statements cannot be uploaded to online tax returns.

What other tax documents are available to Yuhsers?

All Yuhsers receive their annual statement, portfolio performance and interest statement automatically in their inbox at the beginning of the year.

In addition, Yuhsers who have received dividends on their investments will also receive a coupon/dividend and withholding tax statement in their document inbox.

The annual tax certificate for your pillar 3a account with Yuh is generated in the middle of January, if not before. You can find the certificate in the pillar 3a area under «Overview» > «Statements».
